• TRDD 5 discrete DAC – TEAC's in-house converter design, with RDOT-NEO upconversion at 2x, 4x or 8x the sample rate.
• Dual-mono balanced headphone stage – the TEAC-HCLD2 high-current line driver delivers 1,200 mW per channel into 100 ohms balanced, with Low, Mid and High gain to match easy and hard-to-drive headphones.
• Three headphone sockets – 4-pin XLR, 4.4 mm Pentaconn and 6.3 mm, so you can plug in balanced or single-ended cables without adapters.
• Wide digital support – USB-B and USB-C accept PCM up to 384 kHz/32-bit and DSD512, and a full MQA decoder works on every digital input except Bluetooth.
• Real preamp duty – the TEAC-QVCS analog volume attenuator controls the XLR and RCA outputs, so it can feed a power amp or active speakers directly.
• External clock input – a 10 MHz BNC input lets you sync it to a master clock.

Good to Know

Analog XLR and RCA inputs mean you can also route a phono stage or another line source through the volume control. Bluetooth reception supports LDAC and aptX HD for higher-quality streaming from a phone. Coaxial and optical inputs top out at 192 kHz/24-bit and DSD64 via DoP.
