Bring streaming and digital sources into your hi-fi with the Gold Note DS-5.2. Its network player, DAC, preamplifier and headphone functions combine in a compact component with connections for television audio and Bluetooth playback.
Key Features
- AKM AK4493 DAC β a fully balanced internal architecture keeps noise low and dynamics intact.
- Streaming built in β Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Deezer, vTuner and UPnP/DLNA, up to PCM 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD256.
- HDMI eARC with CEC β connect your TV directly, with CEC support for smoother integration.
- Bluetooth 5.2 in and out β aptX HD both for receiving from a phone and for sending audio out to another Bluetooth device.
- Three ways to use it β streamer/DAC into an integrated amp, digital preamp straight into a power amp or active speakers, or pure transport via its coaxial digital output.
- Color touchscreen β album artwork on the front panel, with the GN Control app for inputs, volume and settings.
Good to Know
Choose fixed DAC output or variable preamp output over balanced XLR or RCA. A front headphone output makes it just as useful for personal listening. The DS-5.2 can also be upgraded later with an optional external power supply from the same series.
