Bring a dedicated closed-back design to your system with the Audio-Technica ATH-A990Z. Part of the Art Monitor range, it combines large proprietary drivers with an over-ear fit for detailed music playback and sound containment.
Key Features
- 53mm proprietary drivers: generous size for extended bass and a full, rich presentation.
- Lightweight CCAW voice coils: copper-clad aluminum wire helps the driver respond quickly for crisp highs.
- Closed-back aluminum honeycomb housings: limit sound leakage while keeping the presentation open and transparent.
- 3D Wing Support: the self-adjusting support rests lightly on your head without adding clamping pressure.
Good to Know
The closed design makes the A990Z a sensible pick for listening when others are nearby or for monitoring in a home studio. The wing-style support adapts to the shape of your head on its own, so comfort comes without fuss over fit.
