Explore the character of Audeze's original LCD-2 concept with the LCD-2 Classic. An open-back planar magnetic design and simplified construction create a dedicated headphone option for music listening and critical playback.
Key Features
- Planar magnetic technology: the ultra-thin diaphragm reacts quickly, giving you fine detail without harshness.
- Open-back design: natural imaging and a real sense of depth, with instruments spread well beyond your ears.
- Warm, musical tuning: keeps the same sonic character that made the LCD-2 line a favorite with audiophiles.
- Lightweight build and plush earpads: comfortable enough for long albums or extended mixing sessions.
Good to Know
Being open-back, these headphones let sound pass in both directions, so they are happiest in a quiet room rather than on a commute or in a shared office. They suit both relaxed album listening and detailed work such as checking a mix.
